Two types of Environments
Polar lands have two types of environments, polar ice cap and tundra.
Icecaps occur because of their freezing cold temperatures all year round and is unsuitable for growing plants because of the constant snow covering.
Tundras are warmer icecaps, with warmer temperatures. They are still cold enough to have permafrost
The Arctic Circle has the Arctic Ocean, which is between Europe, Asia and North America.
The Antarctic Circle has the Antarctic continent which mainly covered with ice and snow.
